CALL TO ACTION

Our goal is to get thousands of Hawaii Island/ Big Island Hemp farmers signed up for the HDOA/ USDA Industrial Hemp program in 2019:

  1. United we Grow, join the Hawaii Island Hemp Collective. As a Collective we will have the “power of the people” to help direct County, State and Federal officials and legislation.

  2. Share this site with your family and friends, educate your neighbors and community. Promote Industrial Hemp Agriculture as a means to grow our economy.

  3. The Hemp plant regenerates the soil, no need for herbicides or pesticides, and the terpenes it produces helps to heal our atmosphere. In time, Hemp farmers will likely receive tax credits (oxygen, carbon and terpene) for growing Hemp.

  4. Support Industrial Hemp drying and processing centers in your area. These centers will work with and for our island-community and help guarantee that we farmers have a secure location to sell and process our Industrial Hemp crops.

  5. Quality control is the key to our success as Hawaii Hemp Farmers. The Hawaii Island Hemp Collective has teamed up with some Oregon Hemp Farmers, who will help direct and advise us with the growing process.

  6. Review and complete the HDOA for your Industrial Hemp License, for more information: http://hdoa.hawaii.gov/hemp/ Print and save a copy of your application for future reference.

  7. As soon as it becomes available, we will provide the USDA application for a license to grow Industrial Hemp.
